Kenneth R. Strange Jr.
Kenneth R. Strange is a life-long writer and the author of the new book “It’s Your Camino: One Couple’s 500-mile Pilgrimage Across Spain.”
GENERAL INFORMATION
A native New Yorker and former FBI agent, Ken has written travel articles for local US and international newspapers and magazines. He has a second book on the way--about his Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) experiences in the FBI. Ken’s 21-year federal law enforcement career included white collar crime and internal affairs.
A Spanish speaker, Ken has traveled extensively around the world to more than 65 countries, walking the paths of his characters and assimilating geographical venues; he has lived and worked in Saudi Arabia, Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica and El Salvador.
His company, Development Fraud Investigations (DFI), provides investigative services and fraud-related training to NGOs and non-profit organizations throughout the world.

Ken is also a licensed Private Investigator (PI) in the state of California where he has investigated both missing persons and Hollywood celebrity cases.
He enjoys hiking, climbing small mountains (nothing over 15,000 feet) and fishing. Favorite authors and writers include James Michener, Ray Bradbury, James Joyce, Jon Krakauer, Pete Hammill and Ernesto Sabato.
Ken has been an active member of Rotary, California Association of Private Investigators and the Society of Former Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Toastmasters. He also volunteers his time with the ‘Homeless.’
He is married and has twin daughters.
